Hi, I'm Lesley!
I am originally from the Central Valley, California, but I am currently based in New York City. I recently graduated from the School of Visual Arts' 3D Animation and VFX program. I love to travel and try new things! I am constantly looking for new things to learn
My Story
I grew up drawing and watching Disney cartoons and films. So at a very young age I knew I wanted to go into animation. During my time at SVA, I found my love for creating unique characters and giving them their own unique personality through animation.
Besides focusing on 3D at SVA, I was a Co-Leader the 3D animation Departments MARS (Mentorship, Advisor, and Relationship Services) Club where we would focus on connecting underclassmen with upperclassman to form a mentorship. We would also bring back past alumni and other professionals to speak to our members, and host portfolio reviews. I was also a Resident Assistant at the freshman dorm, and worked at SVA's Student Center where I would help run events held in the space. During my sophomore year I also was Co-Leader of SVA's Queer Club which was really great getting to focus on trans POC voices in our community. During the summer, I also am SVA's Orientation Video Editor where I get to help edit all the videos the new incoming students see.
