Reel Breakdown:
1. Shot from SVA student thesis film ‘Upstream’
This is a shot I did mocap clean-up and animation for a student thesis film set to release in May 2025. The Director requested us to use animation layers which I normally never use but quickly got used to! It took me two weeks to finish this shot.
2. Shot from SVA student thesis film 'Misson: 2089'
The most challenging part about this shot was making sure the character looked like she was a trained soldier sneaking around without making her too stiff.
3.Chiquito the Armadillo animation test for SVA student thesis film 'Chiquito'
I made the model, Avery Pendleton created the rig, and Anna Riva created the textures. It took two weeks to get this test just right. This test is for our short film ‘Chiquito’ set to release in May 2025. I wanted to get his roll just right because it is his signature trait. It was difficult because he does not have the same foot structure as an actual armadillo because they have ugly feet and I wanted Chiquito to be cute. So it was a lot of blending of the way cats and dogs act with an armadillo anatomy. It was also great testing out the rig to give any notes to our rigger about updates that needed to be made with weights, etc.
4. Idle fight pose for the Sheik character:
Character made by Shayleen Hulbert. Rig built by Perry Leijten. This took me four days to animate since I was really struggling with her braid in the back and getting that nice swinging motion. I had followed this content creator who does stunts and she always has these cool weapon tricks. I just wanted to use her as a reference because of how skilled she is. It was really fun!

5. Lip Sync with the audio from Stranger Things season 3:
Character and rig made by Artem Dubina. I love stranger things, and Robin is one of my favorite characters so I just really wanted to do a a lipsync with her for fun.
